See You at the Pole is student led prayer event at your schools. Join your fellow students around the flag pole as you pray for your friends, your school, and your nation. For more information visit: www.syatp.com. And don't forget to join us at 6:30 p.m. for our See You After the Pole Event here at FBC! We will be joined by serveral other groups and will have a special guest speaker.

guys backpaking trip-October 6-9, 2008

We will be taking a guy's backpaking trip to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in TN. We will be hiking for 4 days and camping 3 nights. This trip is open to all guys in grades 7-12. There is no cost for the trip, but you will be responsible for a couple meals while traveling. In addition, because of the physical demand of hiking, each participant will need to be in good health. winter retreat-January 2-5, 2009

This year's Winter Retreat to Winter Place, WV will be January 2-5, 2009. Make plans to join us early as space is limited and always fills up quickly. You will be receiving more information and the financial guidlines by mail and at church.

disciple now-January 22-25, 2009

Disciple Now is a weekend event that involves Bible Study, great worship, good food, and a lot of fun. This year's theme is Becoming: Finding My Identity in Christ. We will be exploring and discussing where the source of our identity comes from by studying the life of the Apostle Paul. Our speaker will be Adam Robinson (www.adamrobinson.org) and the worship band will be the Jeremy Curits Band. More details will be avaliable in the coming weeks.
